New Swedish employee at WILLBRANDT

WILLBRANDT has expanded the Swedish sales team and has hired Richard Kling to take care of our customers in West Sweden and Norway.

At WILLBRANDT, we welcome our new colleague, and we are very much looking forward for us and our customers to get to know him.

Here you can read a short interview with Richard, where he tells a little about himself and the expectations he has for the future together with WILLBRANDT.

Tell us a little about yourself
Who are you and what is your background?

I am 48 years old and live in Billdal south of Gothenburg.
I am originally trained as a Development and Innovation engineer and have later studied business development and economy controlling at IHM Business School.

I have worked as a sales rep. for many years, so you can say that I have one foot in technique and one foot in technical sales. I love finding out how things work and am passioned about finding improvements and new technical solutions and applications for existing products.

I like being active and spend a lot of my free time doing sports, and among other things I teach motorsport for children, where I am also active myself.

I also live in a house, so I spend quite a lot of time on that too.

What made you choose WILLBRANDT?

WILLBRANDT offers technical solutions, which is pretty much in line with what I have previously worked with. I have always worked with rubber products, and I think that they are extremely interesting.

WILLBRANDT is also a company in continuous growth, and I enjoy working with business development. I would like to use my knowledge and thereby contribute to adding value to the customers. I have worked in several industries around Europe and have a solid background in advising customers finding the right technical solution.

What areas will be your focus areas?

I will first and foremostly work with shock and vibration dampers, in relation to railway, maritime and vehicle related applications in West Sweden and Norway. Here I will work mainly with technical development projects, which are quite often customer specific.

What are you mostly looking forward to?

To use my knowledge as an engineer and technical sales rep., helping customers with new products and solving problems.

What are your expectations for the job?

WILLBRANDT wants to grow, and so do I. I am a person who always wants to improve things and find new innovative solutions.  I also think that it is interesting with the green development, and it is an exciting challenge to develop sustainable products – whether it is for railway, maritime, vehicles or industrial applications.
