PUR Polyurethan
PUR (Polyurethane) is the group of plastic materials characterized by the polymeric molecules that contain urethane bonds or derived bonds. PUR occurs mostly as hardened plastic, but is also found as a thermoplastic elastomer, called TPU.
Unlike most other plastic materials, polyurethanes can be manufactured with very large variations in both density and stiffness, and therefore have a wide range of applications.
PUR has good flexibility over a wide temperature range. It is shock-absorbing, withstands high loads and has very high abrasion resistance.
